2017年8月25日，广州市政府成立广州金融风险监测防控中心。广州金融风险监测防控中心是广东省唯一的金融风险监测防控专职机构，是全国地方政府中第一家专业化的金融风险监测防控机构，是广州市政府运用金融科技手段完善金融安全预警防线和应急处置机制的重大举措。 广州金融风险监测防控中心具有四大职能：一是主动发现与预警职能；二是实时监测职能；三是分析与辅助定性职能；四是配合与协助风险处置职能。四大职能共同实现“预警+监测+分析+处置”有效联动，防范和打击非法金融活动，化解区域性金融风险。 为推进防控中心更好发展，明确防控中心在运行中的独立法人地位，2019年1月，广州金融科技股份有限公司（原广州商品清算中心股份有限公司）独资发起成立广州金融风险监测防控中心有限责任公司，注册资本1000万元。营业范围主要是为地方金融业态提供风险监测、数据分析、风险管理、金融风险处置服务，受国家金融监管部门委托开展金融风险监测分析及处置服务，受金融机构委托从事金融信息技术外包服务，软件开发，软件服务，信息技术咨询服务，企业管理咨询服务等。

On August 25, 2017, Guangzhou municipal government established Guangzhou Financial Risk Monitoring and Prevention Center. It is the only professional financial risk monitoring and prevention institution in Guangdong Province, and the first specialist agency of its kind established by local government in China. It is also a major measure taken by Guangzhou municipal government to improve financial security early warning system and emergency response mechanism by applying financial technology means. Guangzhou Financial Risk Monitoring and Prevention Center has four functions: first, financial risk discovery and early warning; second, real-time Monitoring ; third, analysis and auxiliary qualitative function; fourth, cooperation and assistance in risk management. Together, the four functions have effectively coordinated the ""early warning, monitoring, analysis and disposal"" strategy, prevented and cracked down on illegal financial activities, and defused regional financial risks.
