中央财经大学粤港澳大湾区（黄埔）研究院成立于2020年9月，是由中央财经大学与广州市人民政府、广州开发区管委会合作共建，以服务广州市、粤港澳大湾区建设发展及国家“一带一路”合作倡议为宗旨，以经济管理领域理论研究、政策咨询、高端人才培养和金融科技产业孵化为重点， “产学研”一体化的国际化、开放式创新平台。 研究院依托中央财经大学独特学科优势，紧密结合地方发展需求和粤港澳大湾区建设发展及国家“一带一路”战略，将在以下领域开展一系列创新研究：粤港澳大湾区的金融、贸易、税收、法律协调机制研究，粤港澳大湾区财税体制和金融服务创新研究，绿色金融示范区建设研究，金融科技创新与应用研究，粤港澳大湾区区域金融风险监测、预警及防范研究，粤港澳大湾区反洗钱、反恐怖融资、反逃税合作机制研究；世界主要湾区经济比较研究，粤港澳大湾区数字经济研究；粤港澳大湾区国际科创中心、全球供应链管理、电子商务和智能财务研究等。研究院与广州市政府或其他单位密切合作，定期发布大湾区金融发展报告，定期举办高端财经论坛。 研究院充分发挥产业孵化功能，建立科技成果转化投融资服务平台，引导国内外知名投融资机构入驻相关金融科技产业园，吸引和培育各类金融科技企业入园孵化，助力广州市高科技企业科技成果转化落地和产业化；搭建财经中介服务平台，为园区企业提供企业成长、管理咨询、财务会计服务、税务服务、投融资顾问、财经法律等方面的服务。
