中国人民财产保险股份有限公司（PICC P&C）的前身是1949年10月1日成立的中国人民保险公司，总部设在北京，是中国人民保险集团股份有限公司（PICC Group，2021年美国《财富》世界“500强”第90位）的核心成员和标志性主业，是国内历史悠久、业务规模大、综合实力强的大型国有财产保险公司，保费规模居全球财险市场前列。公司于2003年11月6日在香港联交所主板上市（股票代码2328）。2022年1月，穆迪投资者服务公司再次授予公司保险财务实力评级A1，为国内中资保险公司所获最高等级评级。公司相继成为2008年北京奥运会、2010年上海世博会和广州亚运会、2016年G20杭州峰会、2022年北京冬奥会等重要赛事、重大活动的保险合作伙伴。

PICC Property And Casualty Company Limited, the largest property and casualty insurance company on the Chinese mainland, was established in July 2003 with PICC Group as its sole promoter. The Company became the first domestic financial enterprise listed overseas when the Company was successfully listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 6 November 2003. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: Motor vehicle insurance, commercial property insurance, cargo insurance, liability insurance, accidental injury insurance, short-term health insurance, agriculture insurance, credit insurance, surety insurance, homeowners insurance, marine hull insurance and other insurance business, which are denominated in RMB and foreign currencies, and the related reinsurance business as well as investment and funds application business permitted under the relevant laws and regulations of the PRC.
